able to demonstrate a commitment to being part of our caring school community. Seven Hills School is a Co-educational
Secondary Special School co-located with a good Catholic High School near the
centre of the city. We cater for pupils from 11 to 19 years of age. All pupils
have learning difficulties, and many have other associated difficulties
relating to communication, sensory, physical and/or medical disabilities. In
common with many other special schools, pupils admitted have increasingly
complex needs. Seven Hills School is an inspirational

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of, or a strong interest in, supporting young people who may present with physical behaviours that challenge, including those with complex physical needs. This role requires a calm, consistent and resilient approach, alongside the ability to use agreed strategies to support students safely and effectively. Successful candidates will be committed to building trusting relationships, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment for all. Full training in approaches such as Team Teach and safe moving and handling will be provided, and staff will be supported as part of a skilled and collaborative team.
