About the role The Science Faculty currently offers a wide range of opportunities at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. We run both separate and combined science options at GCSE. Our results at GCSE level are significantly and consistently above the national average. At KS5 we run a successful chemistry course with results in the top 25% of the country. At Key Stage 5, the chemistry department has developed a strong relationship with Kingston University allowing the students the opportunity to try NMR and Mass spectroscopy first hand whilst synthesising compounds such as paracetamol. We also have an array of extracurricular activities for all year groups and we are looking for a candidate who has the initiative and motivation to get involved and even lead on such opportunities. Chemistry, and Science in general, is a very popular and thriving subject at Grey Court School.
