CAMBRIDGE PARK ACADEMY ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT Grade: 3, scp 4 - 5 Salary: Β£25,185 - Β£25,583 FTE, Β£19,006 - Β£19,307 Actual, Β£13.05 - Β£13.26 per hour Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, Monday β Friday, 8.15am β 3.15pm Contract: Fixed term contract for 6 months in the first instance, Term time + 5 training days (195 days) Start date: ASAP Following pre-employment checks Cambridge Park Academy is seeking a motivated and highly organised Administrator to join our welcoming team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across two sites, supporting children with a diverse range of learning needs.
The role is varied, combining reception duties with essential administrative support and opportunities to assist with finance. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic individual with strong organisational and prioritisation skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to contributing positively to a busy and supportive school environment.
Experience within a school setting would be advantageous, along with a proven background in administration. As the first point of contact for parents and visitors, you will provide a friendly, efficient, and professional reception service. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
β’ Provide all aspects of the schoolβs administrative, financial and support services with a focus on attendance.
β’ Deal with reception visitors
β’ Assist with managing and maintaining manual and computerised records
β’ Organise school trips/events
β’ Undertake typing and IT based tasks e.g. Arbor input / updating online sites THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
β’ GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
β’ Training in IT based systems e.g. Microsoft Package, Sage
β’ Experience using Arbor or SIMS
β’ Experience of communicating with the public and outside agencies
β’ Experience of producing / maintaining / evaluating data
