Part of the Windmill Primary Federation  Tel: 01945 880405  Email:  office@tilneystlawrenceprimary.co.uk    Website:  https://www.windmillfederation.org.uk    Headteacher: Mrs Emma Hunt    Salary: C5 - Β£25,583.00 p/a pro rota  Temporary until August 2026  Part Time  16.8 hrs per week  3 days per week – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday  Start Date: ASAP    Are you passionate about helping children thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment?   Tilney St Lawrence CP School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring  Teaching and Learning Assistant Level 1  to join our friendly and hardworking team.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, has a nurturing approach, and is committed to supporting pupils' learning and well-being.  About the Role:   As a Level 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:  Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences.  Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to help them access the curriculum.  Provide additional support to pupils with specific educational needs.  Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.  Assist with general classroom organisation and administrative tasks.  We are looking for someone who:   Has a genuine passion for working with children.  Is patient, flexible, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.  Works well as part of a team and shows initiative.  Has good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent).  Ideally has experience in a school setting (though not essential – training will be provided).  We offer:   A warm, welcoming, and supportive school community.  Opportunities for professional development and training.  A well-resourced and engaging learning environment.  Supportive leadership and dedicated colleagues.  For further information or to arrange a visit, please contact Emma Hunt via the school office – 01945 880405.
