Teacher of English

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated Teacher of English to join our successful and supportive English department from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire a love of literature and language across Key Stages 3 and 4 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate.  The successful candidate will:

Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour

Have a passion for English and the ability to engage and motivate students

Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and ambitious department

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
