The role We are looking for a colleague with the ability to connect well with students, raise standards and to provide support, stretch and challenge for all our learners, creating an environment where they are encouraged to carry on with the subjects to GCSE and beyond. We are looking for the right candidate to work with long-established members of the department to build our offering for Key Stage 4 and beyond, so this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to have a hand in shaping an already successful department into the future, and develop their own practice in relation to the new 2024 GCSEs. Our School Shenfield High School is a standalone 11-18 Academy with a comprehensive ethos and commitment to high academic standards supported by a significant investment in pastoral care and wellbeing. The school is conveniently located close to Shenfield mainline station on the line into London Liverpool Street and home to the eastern terminus of the new cross rail Elizabeth Line.
