Deputy Headteacher

The Deputy Headteacher will play a key role within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring that every student is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The post holder will assist the Headteacher in managing the Academy, undertaking the professional duties of the Headteacher during their absence as well as support and represent the Headteacher at meetings when required. The Deputy Headteacher will play a major role in the overall direction of the Headteacher in formulating and reviewing the Mission Statement, Development Plan, aims and objectives of the Academy by: • Establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved • Managing staff and resources to that end • Monitoring progress towards their achievement
