Job Description - 2nd in Science United Learning Pay scale (Β£36,400 - Β£53,040 pa + TLR up to Β£8,611), plus Health Care Cash Plan Directly reporting to: Head of Science Responsible for: Pupil Progress and Outcomes Job Purpose: To carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the academy's policies under the direction of the Principal To be an effective professional who demonstrates thorough curriculum knowledge, can teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development and has students who achieve well To be a member of the Science curriculum team and under the direction of the Head of Science, contribute to the high standards of teaching and learning and the raising of standards of achievement To make a significant contribution to the vision and direction of Heath Lane Academy, where innovative and inspirational learning for all is the core value.
