About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Millside Spencer Academy for a Play Leader. You will be responsible for leading the supervision of lunch service in our dining areas and the play activities for our children, ensuring a safe, inclusive and fun environment. You will be enthusiastic about children and have a sense of fun. You must be friendly, calm, with the ability to be assertive to ensure safe play and positive pupil behaviour, ensuring our children always follow the Millside Way. The successful applicant must be able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff and be aware of Health & Safety issues surrounding lunch time activities. Qualifications in first aid would be desirable, although training may be available.
