Actual Annual Salary: £19,511 - £21,267
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,594 - £28,275 (CLF Grade B) Based on full time hours, all year round.
Contract Type: FTC – 31 August 2027
Hours: 32.5 hours per week - Part Time, Term Time Only Plus Inset days
Potential Start Date : 3 September 2026
We are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team from September.
The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to a child starting school, helping them to settle, access learning and develop confidence within the classroom environment, including development of self-care routines.
They will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support learning and inclusion and help the child to access the EYFS curriculum within a play-based learning environment.
About you:
You will:
Has previous experience of supporting children with additional needs within a nursery or EYFS setting.

Holds a full and relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualification).
Has strong evidence of supporting children's emotional wellbeing, communication and social development
Will foster independence while offering reassurance and encouragement
Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
Good literacy and numeracy competency (evidenced by GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, equivalent qualifications and/or experience).
