Our fantastic school is a well‑established, designated SEMH specialist provision with capacity to serve 179 learners, supported by a team of talented colleagues, across two sites in central Bradford and Keighley. The Teacher will be responsible for delivering and coordinating the daily teaching, planning, assessment and pastoral care for learners primarily in year 8. They will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop inclusive practice and ensure provision is high quality, safe, effective and relevant. The role will also include deployment of teaching support staff, financial and physical resources within the school to support teaching and learning. We need a primary experienced teacher who is able to cope with highly complex problems, particularly in child protection and challenging behaviours. Some of our learners are involved in high risk-taking activities such a substance misuse, going missing, vulnerability to exploitation and much more. They may lead chaotic lifestyles or suffer from neglect, all form of abuse and witness to domestic violence and family turbulence.
