Why this role matters As a Teacher of History at Oxford’s newest secondary school, you will be a key part of our "Humanities" faculty. We believe that a rigorous, knowledge-rich History curriculum is a right for all students. You will help our students acquire the historical perspective and critical thinking skills they need to understand their place in the world today. What you’ll bring Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in History or a related subject. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for evidence-informed pedagogy, such as direct instruction and retrieval practice. High expectations of student behaviour and a commitment to academic excellence for all. A collaborative approach, contributing to the development of shared resources and participating in peer coaching. A commitment to the "whole child", including an active role in our pastoral curriculum and elective programme.
