Dorridge Primary School, a large three form entry, community Primary school with a nursery, would like to appoint Teaching and Learning Support Assistants. The successful candidates will provide support for children within our Nursery and Reception classes. We have 3 vacancies for EYFS TLSA: ALL roles are a Fixed Term contract until 31 August 2027 ALL roles are Term Time only - 39 weeks per year, including all INSET Days ROLE 1 - 4.5 days per week (30.5 hours) Hours of Work: 30.5 hours per week. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 8.20am - 3.40pm, Wednesdays 12.30pm - 3.40pm, Fridays 8.20am - 4.00pm. All days, excluding Wednesdays, including unpaid 30-minute lunch break. Grade: Band C. Actual salary range for part time (30.5 hours per week), term time is Β£18,955 to Β£20,874 per annum. Full time equivalent range: Β£26,824 to Β£29,540 per annum. ROLE 2 - 5 mornings (20.83 hours) Hours of Work: 20.83hours per week, Mondays - Friday 8.20am - 12.30pm Grade: Band C. Actual salary range for part time (20.83 hours per week), term time is Β£12,945 to Β£14,256 per annum. Full time equivalent range: Β£26,824 to Β£29,540 per annum. ROLE 3 - 5 days per week (34 hours) Hours of Work: 34 hours per week. Mondays - Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm including unpaid 30-minute lunch break Grade: Band C. Actual salary range for part time (34 hours per week), term time is Β£21,130 to Β£23,270 per annum. Full time equivalent range: Β£26,824 to Β£29,540 per annum. Main duties and responsibilities (a full Job Description and Person Specification are available): To supervise the activities of the child inside and outside the classroom To provide care, attend to the childβs personal needs and undertake activities necessary to meet the physical, emotional and educational requirements of individual child. This will require knowledge of a range of strategies and a high level of skills developed through experience, with regular supervision from teaching staff as and when required. To liaise with other professionals to support the needs of the child. To work closely with teachers, as part of the Year Group team, to plan appropriately differentiated activities for the child.
