Insignis Academy Trust We have an exciting opportunity to join our multi skilled, proactive and efficient team as Finance Assistant Full time, Permanent 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year Bucks Pay Range 1/2 £24,836 - £28,742 Closing date: Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at 12 noon Insignis Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an approachable, motivated and conscientious individual to join our friendly team as a Finance Assistant Activities. The postholder will need to effectively use Trust parent payment system(s) to ensure trips, visits and activities are properly recorded and parent payments are fully collected, reconciled and reported and that the income is coded to SAGE correctly. The Finance Assistant Activities will work under the Finance Team Leader and work with other Finance staff. As Finance Assistant Activities you will be a key member of our Finance team. You should have some accounting experience and have a general understanding of financial processes, controls and finance systems. Ideally you will have some experience of using parent payment system(s). The Finance Assistant Activities will be headquarters based. You may be required to work at premises occupied by the employer or any of the employer’s Academies, within a 25-mile radius, as directed by the employer. You will also be required to travel to the other schools in your hub as and when required by the Senior Finance Officer.
