Job Title:  Inclusion Supervisor

Actual Annual Salary: £24,711 - £26,640 (Based on hours and weeks worked)

Full Time Equivalent Salary:  £28,859 - £31,111 (CLF Grade C) Based on full time hours, all year round.

Contract Type:  Fixed Term Contract

Contract Length: Fixed until 31 May 2027

Hours:  37 hours per week - Full Time, Term Time Only plus Inset days

Provisional Start Date:  June 2026

Broadoak Academy is introducing a new and exciting role: Inclusion Supervisor, responsible for managing our Reset Room. A supportive space designed to help students regulate, reflect and reintegrate into learning. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the Reset Room operates at the highest standards by managing behaviour calmly and consistently in line with academy policies, creating and sustaining a calm working environment where students can refocus, and supporting them to re‑regulate and reflect so they are ready to transition back into lessons successfully.

You will work as part of a cohesive team to uphold expectations and maintain the quality and consistency of provision, ensuring accurate attendance registering and communicating clearly with colleagues to support reintegration, monitor progress and keep everyone informed of student needs. This role is central to promoting equity, supporting vulnerable learners and embedding high expectations across the academy, and we are seeking a calm, proactive and resilient individual with strong behaviour management experience within a school environment.

About the role

As an Inclusion Supervisor, you will:

Lead the daily running of the Reset Room, creating a calm and focused environment where students can reflect, regulate and continue meaningful learning. Support students in understanding behaviour incidents, making positive choices and maintaining accurate attendance and behaviour records. Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation by providing consistent boundaries, structure and restorative approaches, supporting students with SEMH, SEND and behaviour‑related needs. Provide high‑quality support through 1:1 and small‑group work, helping students stay engaged, build resilience and continue academic tasks during their time in the Reset Room. Work collaboratively with the Inclusion Team, teachers, pastoral staff and leaders to ensure clear expectations and effective communication. Liaise professionally with parents and carers, and refer safeguarding or pastoral concerns promptly to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Maintain accurate records and administration, logging behaviour information, interventions and follow‑up actions, updating support plans, and using IT systems confidently to analyse information and produce reports.
