Class Teacher: either FS or KS1 with possibility of KS1 Lead Role

QTS Experience of teaching within KS1 and or EYFS, working with a range of abilities including EAL, children with SEND and more able children. Clear, grammatically correct spoken English. A comprehensive understanding, or at least developing understanding, of Attachment and Trauma. High ambitions for yourself as a developing practitioner and a commitment to provide every child with the best possible start in life The skills of an excellent, creative, successful classroom practitioner with a dedication and determination to secure good and better progress and raise attainment for ALL children A sound knowledge of how young children learn and develop from EYFS to Y2 The ability to work as part of a team to plan, teach and assess effectively for the next steps in children’s learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing and maintaining close links with the whole community To lead in at least one subject, depending on experience, to inspire all staff across the school in order to further enhance our existing progressive and rich curriculum.
