KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistants

We are seeking enthusiastic, committed and caring Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will ideally have: A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or above Experience of working with primary-aged children in KS1 or KS2 Experience of delivering interventions to support pupil progress A good understanding of phonics, reading and early maths strategies Experience of supporting children with SEND or an understanding of inclusive practice Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers Experience of supporting learning through targeted interventions and classroom support Skilled interactions to support children’s communication, learning and development Confidence using ICT, including iPads, computers and educational apps The ability to work effectively as part of a team A positive, flexible and reliable approach to work High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
