Grade : BG6, N6-7 FTE £25,989 to £26,403 (Actual salary £12,014.71 - £12,206.11) Contract Term: Part Time, Term Time only. Contract Hours: 20 hours per week, specific days to be discussed at interview. Contract Type: Fixed Term to 31.08.2026 Closing Date: Tuesday 19 May 2026 at 9am Interview Date: Friday 22 May 2026 at 9:30am What We’re Looking For This role will suit someone who has experience of working with children, ideally in an educational or SEND setting, and who is passionate about helping every child achieve their potential. You may already have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, or you may be looking to step into this field with the willingness to learn quickly and adapt. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships are essential. Role overview To work under the guidance of the SENDCO/Inclusion Lead and Class Teacher to support children with special education needs across key stages to enhance children’s learning. To assist the Class Teachers in the management and preparation of resources, and work with the SENDCO/Inclusion Lead and outside professionals to further support children with their attainment and progress both educationally and in terms of their well-being. You will be required to speak English with confidence and be able to conduct a conversation and answer questions for extended periods of time using technical language where required.
