Teacher of English Teacher Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale Β£34,398 - Β£52,490 per annum ( FTE: 100%) Start date: 1st September 2026 Brentwood County High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join our dynamic and supportive team from September 2026. The successful candidate will be passionate about English, with the ability to inspire and engage students across all Key Stages. They will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements and will demonstrate high expectations for all students, showing a clear commitment to helping them achieve their full potential. We are looking for a reflective teacher who is eager to contribute to the ongoing development of the department and play an active role in the wider school community. We welcome teachers at all stages of their career, including Early Career Teachers. BCHS is a Co-operative Academy which is firmly rooted in serving our community. BCHS is just over two miles from the M25. Brentwood County High School is a member of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. The Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust, with twelve member schools within Essex.
