WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The Social Sciences department including Psychology and Sociology is highly valued by students and take up at KS4 & 5 is high. The successful candidate will be accountable for the educational progress of learners at both KS4 & 5 adopting effective teaching and learning strategies. Contribution to the monitoring and development of the social sciences curriculum is expected as part of the role. We are seeking to appoint from September 2026 a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dynamic full-time Teacher of Psychology to teach KS4/5. The ability to teach KS5 Sociology is desirable. The candidate appointed will join a successful and supportive department who regularly share good practice and provide a knowledge-based approach to learning. We are committed to engaging and enthusing students by forging strong relationships and providing personalised support fostering motivation, independence and confidence. This role is suitable for an early career or a more experienced teacher. We also welcome applications from those looking to work 4 days per week.
