Please contact Ms Reynolds on 0121 272 1776 if you wish to visit.  The Role  We are seeking a dedicated, highly organised, and compassionate Attendance and Pastoral Leader to take a key role in promoting excellent attendance, assisting with Early Help support, and contributing to safeguarding as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).  This is a pivotal position within the school, working closely with senior leaders, staff, families, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and ensure all pupils are safe, supported, and able to succeed.  Key Responsibilities  Attendance  * Monitor, track, and analyse pupil attendance and punctuality  * Lead and implement whole-school strategies and policy to improve attendance  * Manage first-day response and follow up on absences promptly  * Identify and address persistent absence and vulnerable groups  * Work closely with families to overcome barriers to attendance  * Liaise with the Local Authority and Education Welfare services  * Provide regular attendance reports to senior leaders and governors  * Complete home visits  Pastoral Care & Pupil Support  * Provide high-quality pastoral and emotional support to pupils  * Identify vulnerable pupils and coordinate appropriate support  * Lead or deliver interventions for wellbeing, behaviour, and social development  * Support staff with behaviour strategies in line with school policy  * Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school culture  Early Help & Family Support  * Support the Early Help process within the school  * Act as Lead Professional for identified families  * Support Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings  * Undertake home visits where appropriate and safe to do so  * Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers  * Signpost and refer families to appropriate external services  * Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date reco
