Teacher of Law

At Birkenhead Sixth Form College, we’re passionate about teaching and creating a positive, progressive environment for both our students and staff. We seek to appoint a dedicated and outstanding teacher to join our Law team. This is a permanent, full time position. The department offers both A Level Law and the BTEC Extended Certificate in Applied Law following the Pearson specification. The A Level Law course, follows the OCR specification. Law is a popular course at the College, with over 300 students that study the subject across both courses. The suitable candidate will be an individual who is immersed in their subject and loves imparting this passion onto their students. Not only will they be highly effective in the classroom but they will also drive the process outside the classroom, maintaining up to date records of work submission, student performance, attendance and promptly tackling issue as they emerge. Both experienced teachers and NQTs are encouraged to apply.
