Catholic education, early learning and high-quality curriculum leadership? We are seeking a dedicated, positive and ambitious senior staff
member to join our vibrant school community as RE Leader and Phase Leader for
EYFS and Year 1. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom
practitioner who is ready to work closely with the senior leadership team to
strengthen the Catholic life of the school, lead Religious Education across the
curriculum and help shape the early educational experience of our youngest
children. We want you to come and teach in our amazing school where we work
hard to improve the life chances of every child. Due to members of our senior
team moving on to leadership roles in other schools, we are looking for someone
who has a genuine desire to help drive the schoolβs Catholic mission in

committed to making a difference in the lives of children who may be
experiencing gaps in their development due to school absence, wider social
factors or because they have recently arrived in the country. We work hard to
help our children settle into school, grow in confidence and make strong
progress academically, socially and spiritually. Who We Are Looking For A qualified teacher with QTS and a
successful track record of strong classroom practice. A teacher with at least three years of
successful teaching experience, ideally including experience in EYFS and/or Key
Stage 1. Someone with experience of Catholic
education, or a strong commitment to leading within a Catholic school context. A leader with secure
knowledge of Religious Education and the confidence to inspire pupils and
colleagues.
About the Role
Lead Religious Education across the
school, ensuring high-quality teaching, curriculum coherence and strong
outcomes for pupils. Support and strengthen the Catholic
life and mission of the school, including prayer, worship, liturgy and links
with the parish community. Lead the EYFS and Year 1 phase,
ensuring excellent provision, strong routines, effective assessment and a
smooth transition from early years into Key Stage 1.
