Cropwell Bishop Primary School is a friendly, popular and successful primary school  in the village of Cropwell Bishop in South Nottinghamshire. Our children are enthusiastic and keen learners who love coming to school. We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated staff team. This is an ideal opportunity for you to work in a supportive environment and to share and develop your skills and expertise.   The role will involve working alongside the class teacher, other teaching assistants and the school SENCO to support children with communication and interaction; cognition and learning and personal care needs, helping to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This may at times include 1:1 provision.   As part of Equals Trust you will have access to high quality professional development, collaborative working and a highly skilled, supportive and experienced team of senior leaders, including other local schools, across the Trust.   We are looking for an indidivual who:   1.    Enjoys being with children and puts children’s well-being at the heart of all they do 2.    Can skilfully introduce children to the school learning environment 3.    Has experience of working with children with SEND and has high aspirations for their achievement 4.    Believes in every child and makes sure all individuals are appropriately supported 5.    Believes in the capacity of all young people to learn and grow, despite the various challenges they face. 6.    Is able to show initiative solutions, creativity and resilience 7.    Is a strong team player, willing to go the extra mile to make school a great experience for our pupils 8.    Demonstrates a good standard of written and spoken English 9.    Has the determination, energy and creativity to make learning memorable and inspiring 10. Works well in a team, valuing every member of the school community 11. Has a positive attitude and is willing to share ideas and learning 12. Is a good team-player with strong communication and interpersonal skills 13. Is enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated   ο»ΏIn return we can offer
