This role will be predominantly based within our specialist Resource Base, supporting pupils with identified communication and language needs, although flexibility to work within our mainstream provision will be required as needed.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning, helping pupils access a bespoke curriculum and reach their full potential.
You will:
* Support teaching and learning across the classroom * Work with individuals and small groups of pupils * Provide specific targeted support to meet pupils' individual needs * Promote independence, confidence and social development * Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment * Support pupils with a range of learning needs * This is a highly rewarding role where you will make a real impact on children's lives every single day.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about supporting children's learning and development * Patient, calm and empathetic * Considerate and responsive to individual pupil needs * Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff * Enthusiastic and able to engage and motivate learners
You will ideally have:
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards this * An understanding of different learning needs and how to support them. Experience working with pupils with identified SEND needs is desirable.
