The Role As the SEND Specialist Teacher, you will lead, manage, develop, and maintain high-quality special educational needs provision. You will ensure quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes, and success for all pupils. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement SEND provision Assess SEND students and plan provision accordingly. Lead on provision for students in our alternative provision. Work closely with the SENCo. Provide professional guidance to staff, parents, and agencies Support staff in delivering inclusive education Promote a positive and inclusive school ethos Qualifications Qualified teacher status with relevant experience Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and effective teaching strategies Excellent communication and organisational skills These duties and responsibilities should be regarded as neither exhaustive nor exclusive as the post holder may be required to undertake other reasonably determined duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grading of the post.
