About the role

PE TEACHER Longdean School MPS/UPS (NQTs/ECTs will be considered) Full-time Start: September 2026 Do you want to be a part of an exciting forward-looking school with a strong reputation, catering for students from year 7 through to year 13? The Longdean School is a good school (Ofsted March 2025). We strive for excellence by teaching and preparing our young people to have confidence, to accept and respond to challenges, to have an enduring passion for learning and to become independent thinkers with respect for themselves and others. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, exceptional individual to take on the role of PE Teacher within our busy PE department. The successful candidate will be well organised, resourceful, adaptable, flexible and innovative. We are looking for someone to contribute to the extensive extra-curricular programme we offer at Longdean, and a specialism in basketball is desirable. You may be new to teaching, looking for your first post or looking for a new challenge in your career, but will be highly capable and have aspirations that the students in your charge achieve to the very best of their ability.
