School is seeking a qualified Teacher of Science to join our well-resourced and
thriving Science department. This role would be suitable for an experienced
teacher or early career teacher (ECT).
About the
Role
Science
is a well-supported and high-profile subject at Wadebridge School,
with generous curriculum time and a spiral curriculum model across Key
Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will: ✔️Teach Science across the
full ability range at Key Stages 3 and 4. ✔️Support our AQA Trilogy GCSE
Science curriculum. ✔️Deliver separate Biology,
Chemistry, and Physics courses for students who choose the Separate
Science pathway. ✔️Join a committed team of ten
teachers and three technicians, all led by an experienced management team.
This position would suit an experienced teacher with a track record of
excellent student progress across Key Stage 3 and 4, or equally a newly
qualified teacher who can demonstrate the potential to make a positive impact
on students’ outcomes. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic,
confident, with an absolute commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning and a genuine enthusiasm for
nurturing a passion for science.

to build on the current progress of the department and be keen to develop existing modules of work
to promote student participation, progress and attainment and to realise
aspirational progress for all.
