Residential Graduate Assistant (Sport)
from September 2026
Term time only + Training Days
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic,
dynamic, and highly motivated resident Sporting Assistant to work at our busy
day and boarding school. This is an exciting opportunity predominately aimed at
graduates who are potentially interested in a career in the education sector
and keen to build up valuable work experience.
This position is offered on a fixed term
basis commencing 6 September 2026 until the end of the following academic year
[23 July 2027].
This is a full-time role during
term time. The hours are divided between
working shifts in the boarding house whilst looking after the pastoral needs of
our students and working in our sports department. Within the sports
department, the role includes carrying out a sports technician role and
supporting sports fixtures. The role
includes weekend and evening work on a rota.
Sports
department โ 10 hours per week, flexible depending on the needs of the department
Boarding
duties โ 29 hours per week - one evening per week and 20 hours every weekend,
across Saturday and Sunday.
Time
Off โ You will have at least 2 x 24 hours off per week; these may not be
consecutive.
Salary -
NYC Grade CD, point 3
Current salary for
39 hours per week term time only + 5 Training Days per annum
ยฃ22,657 pa (pay award pending)
Accommodation,
located in the boarding house, is provided free of charge.
This accommodation is NOT available during the school holidays.
Meals are
provided when on duty and must be paid for at other times.
