Classroom Teacher (KS2)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher who will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class and play a full part in school life. You will deliver high-quality teaching that inspires children, supports excellent progress, and reflects our inclusive values. The successful candidate will: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum Assess, record and report on pupil progress, using both formative and summative methods Deliver statutory and non-statutory assessments Set clear, ambitious targets based on pupils’ prior attainment Meet the needs of all learners through effective differentiation Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports all pupils Promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s policy Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents and external agencies Lead and direct support staff effectively within the classroom Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities Uphold school and trust policies, including safeguarding and data protection We are looking for candidates who: Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and a passion for learning Have secure knowledge of the primary curriculum Use assessment effectively to support pupil progress Have strong behaviour management skills, using a positive approach Are committed to inclusion and removing barriers to achievement About the School H ooe P rimary A cademy is a H appy school where everyone is P assionate and A mbitious about learning.
