As Curriculum Lead at Engage, you will shape and drive a flexible, responsive curriculum within our 12-week provision, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You will lead on curriculum design, teaching and assessment, supporting staff to deliver engaging, personalised learning that re-engages students and improves outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, creativity and a commitment to inclusive practice, alongside the ability to coach and develop a dedicated team. About you:
You will have:
experience of working with children and young people.
experience of assimilating information to facilitate the delivery of lesson plans effectively.
a basic knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
excellent standard of oral and written communication skills and ability to understand and convey information effectively.
good organisational and efficient administration skills.
the ability to build effective working relationships with teachers and other academy staff.
the skills to participate in class discussions in an informed and sensitive manner.

Engage is an Alternative Academic Provision supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students who require a more personalised approach to education. We operate a 12-week, revolving door programme designed to re-engage students and support successful reintegration or transition to their next setting. We require a curriculum that is flexible, responsive and personalised, combining academic learning with vocational and enrichment opportunities to meet individual needs. With a strong focus on relationships, high expectations and pastoral support, we work closely with schools and families to improve attendance, behaviour and wellbeing, ensuring every student is supported to succeed.
