Site Assistant (Part-Time) 25 hours per week | Term time + INSET days | Β£15,088 actual salary We are looking for a reliable and proactive Site Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of our school. Working closely with the Site Manager and the wider team, youβll help ensure the site is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks Securing the premises, including locking up and alarm procedures Supporting school events (set-up, clear-down, porterage) Maintaining cleanliness of the grounds and buildings Responding to site issues and health & safety checks Assisting with lunchtime duties and occasional first aid (training provided) About you: Practical, hands-on, and able to carry out physical tasks Friendly, dependable, and a strong team player Able to work independently and respond to issues proactively Flexible to support occasional events and out-of-hours needs This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our school community, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Hours: Monday-Friday, 1pm-6pm (term time only + 5 INSET days) Flexibility required for occasional events and weekend cover.
