Position: Assistant Principal for Inclusion Start Date: September 2026 Salary L1-L8 (Β£51,773-Β£61,354) We are excited to be recruiting for the brand-new role of Assistant Principal for Inclusion, commencing in September 2026. The Assistant Principal for Inclusion will provide strategic leadership to embed an inclusive culture across the school, ensuring that every child can achieve their full potential. This role will be non-class based and will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The role will oversee provision for pupils with special educational needs (SEND) and other vulnerable learners, ensuring that all pupils are able to make excellent progress and achieve the best possible outcomes. We are seeking a leader who is passionate about inclusion and who truly believes that every child thrives when they experience a deep sense of belonging, supported by a shared philosophy of fun, creativity and achievement. As the Assistant Principal for Inclusion, you will have the opportunity to: Be part of a Trust-wide group of Assistant Principals for Inclusion, enabling you to share best practice, seek support and collaborate within a vibrant and supportive professional network. Serve as a key member of the schoolβs Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to whole-school strategic decision-making. Work closely with the Principal to develop, implement and evaluate the schoolβs Inclusion Strategy, shaping inclusive practice at both school and trust level, rather than within a single setting alone.
