Teachers and Governors
Planning
Meets statutory national curriculum or EYFS
requirements Meets policy expectations Support team members to use pedagogy which is
effective in ensuring progress Ensure trips/visitors are organised with clear
learning intentions/outcomes Risk assessments are completed (can be delegated
but must be checked) Key curriculum documentation is maintained and
available for the website Maintaining a view of quality first teaching
strategies nationally which can be implemented into HPNS curriculum Ensuring high quality adaptive teaching and
resources to ensure an inclusive learning environment
Delivery
Role model in all aspects of classroom practice
and within the wider school community including professional
conduct/communication Budget management for resources across both
campuses. Willingness to coach/mentor team including
discussion about monitoring outcomes
Assessment
Active role in ensuring HPNS assessment system
is robust Ensuring AfL is prominent in planning and
delivery Take an active role in analysing progress over
short term to impact on progress Gap analysis to ensure coverage Take the lead on the target setting strategy
which informs children and parents of next steps in learning Liaise with the Deputy Head
Teachers, Co-Headteachers and subject leaders Ensure deadlines are met for data collection Evaluate use of assessment types Maintaining a view of the national picture of
assessment Familiar with Local and National data sources

Progress
Monitor vulnerable groups in the phase; acting
on information Provide, coordinate and track the impact of
interventions in a timely manner Analyse termly data to identify that All and
Pupil Premium children are making at least expected progress Act on outcomes from Pupil Progress Meetings Work in partnership with key staff to ensure the
closing of the gap for vulnerable children
Monitoring
Monitoring is in line with school and phase
priorities and the school monitoring calendar Lesson observations (can be joint observations
with SLT or English/Maths leaders) Book scrutiny focusing on:
