The successful candidate will supervise classes during teacher absence, delivering pre‑set work while maintaining high standards of behaviour, engagement and learning. You will create a calm, safe and purposeful environment, ensuring continuity of education across a range of subjects. Key responsibilities: Supervise classes during teacher absence and deliver pre‑set work Maintain high standards of behaviour and student engagement Support students’ learning across a range of subjects Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour Create a calm, safe and purposeful classroom environment Pay range: NJC 17 - 21 - £23,195.28 - £25,604.89 - FTE: £30,024.00 - £33,143.00 - 32.5hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Qualifications and Skills: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) Qualification in Level 3 Cover Supervision, HLTA or equivalent Education, youth work or relevant classroom experience (desirable) Ability to confidently manage classroom behaviour Strong communication and interpersonal skills What are we about?
