β€˜TEACH Poole’ Multi-Academy Trust Ad Astra Infant School Haymoor Junior School Canford Heath Infant School Canford Heath Junior School CARETAKER Salary Grade F (Point 12 - 17) Β£28,598 - Β£31,022 pro-rata (Actual Salary Β£15,458.38 - Β£16,768.65) 20 hours per week - 52 weeks per year Shift Pattern Week one: 7:00 am - 11:00 am Week two: 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Permanent - required ASAP The TEACH Poole Multi Academy Trust was formed in April 2015. All four of our wonderful schools are graded as good or outstanding schools by Ofsted. We are extremely popular, over-subscribed, forward-thinking schools with supportive staff and fantastic children. We are looking to recruit a new dedicated member of staff to join our Trust Estates team to work alongside the Estates Manager and caretakers across our four schools. The successful candidate will be employed by the Trust as a whole, and will work under the direction of the Estates Manager. The successful candidate will: Work within the Estates team to keep the school safe for our children and staff Be responsible for maintaining the high standards of safety and appearance of the school and its grounds on a daily basis Undertake general maintenance and work around the school to a high standard Be responsible for locking and unlocking and the security of the school grounds If you: Are keen, well organised and hard working Work well in a team Are able to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role Have experience or skills in general maintenance or craftmanship A can-do attitude to overcoming obstacles Preparedness to go above and beyond Resilience and stamina We can offer you: Fun, friendly and supportive staff who get on well together Rights’ Respecting pupils with excellent attitudes to learning and outstanding behaviour Superb opportunities and specialist training for career professional development within our Trust A fantastic induction programme Enviable support at all levels, and a proactive approach to staff well-being, work-life balance and care for each person as an individual, including the ability to take time off during term time Beautiful school grounds and welcoming learning environments Highly competitive rates of pay and excellent pension contributions by the Trust.
