Higher Level Teaching Assistant Buntingford First School Actual salary: H4 + fringe (£19765) Hours: 8.30-3.30pm daily Start Date: 1st September 2026 Buntingford First School, is a net carbon zero, first school located in East Hertfordshire. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational higher level teaching assistant who has the experience and knowledge to support children across our school. We have a fantastic team who are passionate about making sure every child is valued and can succeed. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals. This role will help support pupils to access all aspects of learning and self-help skills. As this role is a higher level position, it will include some regular whole class teaching and ad-hoc cover across classes. You will work closely with the class teacher and SLT. The school is part of Scholars’ Education Trust (SET), an established, cross phase, multi-academy trust formed in 2012. This is a great time to join SET.
