Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with strong knowledge of the national curriculum.

Experience planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Track record of raising attainment and accelerating pupil progress.

Experience assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil achievement effectively.

Experience managing classroom behaviour positively and creating a safe learning environment.

Experience working collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents/carers.

Experience supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs.

Involvement in extracurricular activities, school events, or wider school life.

Experience using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Skills

Excellent classroom teaching practice with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.

Strong subject knowledge across English, Maths, Science, and the wider KS2 curriculum.

Effective lesson planning, organisation, and time management skills.

Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
