We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in our friendly and highly effective school. Our LSA team are highly-skilled and we are looking for ambitious candidates who are determined that Penn Wood get the very best. The candidate will support children at Penn Wood and secure their access to the curriculum and teaching. This is a fixed term role for September 2026, starting when the children return for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, the LSA team and other professionals to help children—including those with additional needs—communicate effectively, access our high-quality curriculum, developing confidence and independence. You will play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive early years learning environment and will be skilled at supporting pupils in both independent learning and play, helping them to build relationships with their peers. You will be deeply-invested in our community and ambitious for all children, demonstrating how you ensure all children gain access to the educational experiences they deserve and heling to deliver our excellent curriculum.
