We are seeking an exceptional and experienced education leader to take on the role of Director of Teaching and Learning across King’s Group Academies. This is a significant Trust-wide leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape and drive a coherent, evidence-informed approach to teaching and learning across all of our academies. Working closely with the Deputy CEO (Education), Headteachers and senior leaders, you will play a central role in ensuring that every pupil—particularly the most vulnerable—benefits from consistently high-quality classroom practice and achieves strong outcomes. This role is key to turning that vision into reality through the quality of teaching our pupils experience every day. You will lead the development and implementation of a Trust-wide teaching and learning strategy, embedding evidence-informed practice, strengthening curriculum implementation, and securing sustained improvement across all phases. The role combines strategic leadership with a strong focus on classroom impact—supporting leaders and teachers to translate strategy into consistently high-quality practice. This is a highly collaborative role. You will work in close partnership with other members of the Education Support Team, academy leaders and central teams to build alignment, share best practice and ensure a consistently high standard of teaching and learning across the Trust.
