Class Teacher

The leaders and governors of Buxton Junior School are excited to share with you an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, well-established team as they seek a compassionate and enthusiastic part-time class teacher in Y6. The post is initially for a fixed term (one academic year) with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future (subject to staffing review). Buxton Junior School is a happy, proud school in the heart of Buxton with amazing grounds which we frequently use for learning and play. What are we looking for? We are looking for a primary practitioner who demonstrates the following attributes: a proactive and vigilant approach to safeguarding enthusiasm and the skill to innovate the curriculum, delivering learning in new and engaging ways high expectations of all children’s achievements and behaviour, whilst remaining compassionate and supportive interpersonal skills which allow for collaboration with the team and good relationships with children and parents What can we provide? This is a part-time role in Y6 (3 days Monday to Wednesday) Who should apply?
