We are a well-established, experienced, and highly regarded department within the school. Our passion for the dynamic world of business and economics drives us to integrate the most up-to-date news stories into our teaching, ensuring that learning remains relevant and engaging. We are committed to the success of every student, firmly believing that all children can achieve with the right support. As a hard-working and dedicated team, we take pride in providing individualised feedback and adapting our lessons to meet the evolving needs of our students, who represent a diverse cross-section of our local community. Facilities & Resources Our department is well-equipped with modern facilities to support high-quality teaching and learning. We have three designated business classrooms, including a full computer suite, allowing students to engage in interactive and technology-enhanced learning. Additionally, our two traditional classrooms are supplemented with breakout PCs and corridor workstations, enabling individualised and adaptive teaching approaches. We are committed to incorporating real-world case studies, contemporary news, and geopolitical events into our lessons, ensuring that students see the relevance of business and economics in their daily lives. As we often say, "When will economics get boring again?"β€”a nod to its ever-present role in shaping global affairs. Our Philosophy We believe in equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions that enhance the performance and potential of businesses and economies.
