The Role The Trustees are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Primary Education Development Lead who will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving trust‑wide improvement in primary education, including Early Years. Working closely with Headteachers, senior leaders and the Director of Educational Development, the postholder will: Lead and implement the Trust’s primary improvement strategy Drive consistently high‑quality teaching, curriculum design and inclusive practice across all primary schools Strengthen Ofsted readiness and support schools before, during and after inspection Build leadership and teaching capacity through coaching, professional development and collaborative working Model excellent practice through strategic school‑based deployment Contribute to wider trust priorities, including SEND and inclusion This is a senior system‑leadership role requiring credibility, resilience and the ability to influence, challenge and support leaders across multiple schools. The Person You will be: An outstanding primary practitioner and leader with a strong track record of impact Experienced in leading whole‑school or multi‑school improvement Confident working with Headteachers and senior leaders to drive change at pace Deeply committed to inclusive, evidence‑informed practice and continuous improvement Ambitious, solutions‑focused and motivated by the opportunity to make a genuine difference at scale If you are energised by the chance to shape primary education across a high‑performing and ambitious trust — and to play a leading role in developing schools where every child and every teacher thrives — this is a rare and exciting opportunity.
