Head of Year

Beckfoot School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a real difference to young people’s lives. As a Head of Year, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of our students. Working closely with staff, families, and external agencies, you will support in creating a school environment where all students feel supported, understood and able to succeed. We are looking for someone who: Will champion our school values of Enjoy-Learn-Succeed Is committed to improving the lives of young people, especially those with barriers to their learning Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport Works well in a team and is confident in working independently when needed Demonstrates professionalism, resilience and commitment to inclusion Shares our vision for creating remarkable schools where no child is left behind This is a permanent, 37 hour per week, term time only plus 5 days role. The working pattern for this position is Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday.
