About this role The Lighthouse Multi Academy Trust are looking for a PE/Sports Coach to join the staff team at St James Academy. Are you passionate about sports and physical education in school? We are currently seeking a PE/Sports Coach to deliver the PE curriculum and provide a range of extra-curricular sports clubs and activities across all age groups. Main Responsibilities (see attached job description for further details): You will be passionate about PE and school sports. You will enjoy working with children and developing the academy’s physical activity offer. It is essential that you have previous coaching experience . You will be tasked with leading PE lessons, lunch and playtime activities, clubs and events to raise the profile of PE and school sport in schools (under the guidance of the academy’s PE Lead) You will also lead our academy’s participation in local sporting competitions. You will follow safeguarding and child protection procedures and have the ability to handle confidential information.
