Job Description We currently have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School This is a permanent, full-time role on Teaching terms, offering MPS-UPS salary plus SEN allowance. Pear Tree High School is a purpose-built SEND school at the heart of Cheadle Hulme, dedicated to providing an outstanding education for students with significant learning needs. The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher (SEN) to join our team. This role involves fulfilling the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, while making a positive impact on the learning and wellbeing of our students. Key Responsibilities: Promote the progress, wellbeing, and engagement of all students. Deliver personalised, high-quality lessons that meet the learning needs of all pupils. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policy. Participate in interventions to raise student achievement and attainment. Support and contribute to the professional development of colleagues. Collaborate with internal and external agencies to support students’ learning and development. Act as a role model in professional practice, demonstrating high standards of teaching, behaviour management, and safeguarding. Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.
