We currently have an exciting opportunity for a number of Lunchtime Organisers (SEN) to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School These are permanent post working 12.5 hours per week from 11.00am - 1:30pm each day, during term time only. The starting salary is Β£7,538 and the full time equivalent is Β£25,185 Grade 3. Weβre looking for: We are recruiting for a part time Lunchtime Organiser to work in our special educational needs high school. You will provide high quality support over lunchtime, supporting healthy eating, a range of lunchtime clubs, feeding and changing students as appropriate. The successful applicant must be able to work effectively with the whole school community including pupils, parents, governors and staff. Main purpose of the job: You will supervise students in the dining areas and elsewhere as required to provide high quality support over lunchtime, supporting healthy eating, a range of lunchtime clubs, feeding and changing students as appropriate. You will help create an atmosphere so that the meal and lunchtime recreation is a pleasant experience for pupils and staff. Key responsibilities include: Develop good professional relationships with students and other staff members. Undertake activities with groups of students during lunchtime clubs e.g. football, outdoor play, magazine club, art club, sensory story club. To assist at tables and to support student food choices and development skills. To report serious incidents and accidents to Senior staff. Taking students who have minor accidents or are unwell to seek first aid where necessary, and if first aid is not necessary, comforting and reassuring them.
