Bulford St Leonard’s Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint an engaging and inspiring Class Teacher to join its friendly team and work with pupils in its Reception class with effect from September 2026 . This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher, who is passionate about supporting all children to prepare for their future. We are a single form entry primary school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Situated in the village of Bulford, Wiltshire, we serve both military and local families and have strong connections with St Leonard’s Church. Supported by our strong Christian ethos, we insist on high standards of behaviour and respectful relationships. Our school is where futures are created and our staff make this a reality by delivering a curriculum based on active learning and real-life, first-hand experiences; helping students prepare for the next stage of their education as well as for their next stage of life. Has good knowledge and awareness of current initiatives in the EYFS / Primary Curriculum;
Is able to raise attainment and challenge students to achieve their best;
Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to our Reception class and across the wider school community;
Is committed to the need to safeguard and nurture our pupils;
Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
