Key responsibilities include: To assist the Nursery Teacher in the organisation of a high-quality nursery for children from 2 years to starting school. To provide high standards of childcare and education - to include the monitoring and reviewof provision, providing a safe, caring environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities To be responsible for the supervision of children, identifying their learning needs and advising key staff of these To ensure that the welfare and safety of children is paramount within the setting Requirements include: Essential Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework (E) Good understanding of assessment frameworks used to monitor and record childrenβs outcomes and progress (E) Understanding of relevant polices/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation (E)
