Care Club Assistant Contract: Monday to Friday 8am to 8.40am and/or 3.15pm to 5pm 12.08 hours per week term time only plus training days Salary: NJC 2B (points 3-5) Closing date: 12noon on 14th May 2026 Start: As soon as possible We have vacancies in both our morning and afternoon Care Club sessions, and we can offer this as one full role or as a job share. The Role As a Care Club Assistant, you will be an essential part of our extended provision team. Your role will include: Supporting the delivery of fun, engaging, and age‑appropriate activities Ensuring children’s safety, well-being, and positive behaviour Helping to create an inclusive, warm, and structured environment Assisting with snack preparation and daily routines Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families Supporting children’s social and emotional development through play, creativity, and encouragement This role provides a wonderful opportunity to contribute to our vibrant school community and help shape enjoyable experiences for children outside of normal lesson times. Requirements A genuine enthusiasm for working with children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team Experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred) NVQ Level 2/3 in childcare or equivalent is essential Strong communication skills, kindness, and reliability A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare Why Join Us?
